About the pod …

Compost, Cotton & Cornrows is the sauce and spice of sustainability discourse. Across industries and interests, we center Black vanguards from around the globe at every intersection of the diaspora as leading experts in environmental justice, regenerative practices, climate wellbeing, circular economics, community care, cultural healing, and ethical business design.

We are disrupting the mainstream and often siloed sustainability narratives by creating a rhythmic fluidity that connects a marine ecologist to a fashion designer and a cotton farmer to a birth worker.

This Black space is a kaleidoscope of wisdom and lived experience, redefining sustainability for us, by us and ultimately, for the collective wellbeing of humanity and the planet. Compost, Cotton & Cornrows is a poetic bridge from ancestors to Afrofuturism … amplifying the brilliance of Black vanguards shaping the NOW.
